i'm all ears(yours) [Dec. 5th, 2005|11:29 am]
i talked to God today. it was a long conversation, but i was letting him do most of the talking, since he never seems to do that anymore. in the end, he told me he had a confession to make. he said, "my name is not really God". I replied, "oh really? but so many people have called you God for so many years." he said that he knew this, but it has been eating him up inside. he wanted it all to come out. so he told me his real name: Chance.

andrew should work at Toys R Us forever.

chain-linked fencing [Dec. 4th, 2005|05:03 pm]
christen: my brain.
she knows what i'm thinking and what i'm trying to say. she also makes about 87% of my decisions. when i first met her, we had a magical chemistry. and now i tell her everything. she loves dinosaurs and trying to read dinosaur books.
jenni:my heart.
she always keeps me in the most positive mood. i get random text messages from her, in which she calls me mushy pet names and expresses her love. i think she's really cool. even cool enough to admit that she's a sim's university champion.
erica:my lungs.
in more ways than one. she's so spontaneous that it keeps me alive. there's always something fun to do when she's involved. karaoke, dancing, swimming, anything. she looks hot like johnny depp when she dresses like a duder.

simple pleasures [Dec. 2nd, 2005|02:46 pm]
this morning i was driving in my car, making my way to school. i am routinely late, and everyone knows that. i try though. i exceed the speed limit just enough to not get in trouble, but just enough to get through traffic faster than the rest of the population. but today. today, was different.

i'm pushing it. but i get stuck behind this truck. it was a very slow truck, with two very old men inside. at first i'm mad. because i can't get around, and the truck is going too slow for me. but i found myself staying behind the whole way, just because. it was clear to me that the 100 year old man driving was sure to cause an accident. yes, he was driving slow, but he was all over the place. and since i was behind him, i could see what was going on.

he was telling his other 100 year old friend a story. and might i add, the best story ever. his arms were flailing around. they were laughing hysterically. there was even one point when he was showing his pal how big something was, when he had BOTH arms in the air. (remember, we're on the road here). you know it had to be that important.

so as opposed to being mad, speeding around, and trying to get to school on time, i didn't. i stayed behind these ancient fellows and couldn't help but smile

because all i wanted to know was their story...
